When you adopt one of our shelter pets, you are saving a life—a priceless feeling any day! Adoption donations help to cover the services the pet receives before going home with you.

Dogs (not part of Land to Sea Pet Rescue) – $250 Microchip
Puppies (not part of Land to Sea Pet Rescue)– $300 Spay/Neuter
Land to Sea Dogs and Puppies – $475 Rabies Vaccine
Senior Dogs – $100 Bordatella and DHPP Vaccines (dogs)
Cats – $150 FVRCP Vaccine (cats)
Kittens – $250 Heartworm Test and Heartguard(dogs)
Senior Cats – $50 FELV/FIV Test (cats)
Rabbits - $50 Parasite Test and Worming Treatment
Small and Furry or Feathered Friends – $25 Flea and Tick Preventative

Pet Shelter

Homeless, abandoned and relinquished pet shelter. NiSHA takes in and cares for Nantucket’s stray and surrendered pets, whether given up due to a move, allergies or found wandering the lanes of Nantucket. We will never turn away an animal in need. All incoming animals receive sterilization, vaccines and microchip before going on to new homes. 

Land to Sea Pet Rescue

NiSHA helps overcrowded shelters in Massachusetts and across the country with their overflow of adoptable animals, finding them loving homes, thereby saving lives. Since 2012, NiSHA has found homes for thousands of animals who would otherwise not had a chance.
