Practice Manager

NiSHA is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee daily operations, support staff and volunteers, and cultivate a positive and efficient work environment. This individual will be responsible for managing people, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the smooth operation of our shelter and programs.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong people-management skills, has experience in serving the community, and the ability to foster a positive workplace environment. They can balance the day-to-day with big-picture thinking, ensuring a strong organizational culture. This person must be highly adaptable, able to manage people with empathy, and excited to create systems that will set our shelter up for long-term success.

This is a full-time, salaried position that requires someone to work on-site at the shelter. They will also be required to pitch in with animal care as needed while securing coverage for twelve-hour days, including evenings and holidays. We are a small team where everyone shares the responsibilities of ensuring the animals in our care are thriving.
